1 minute with our Everyday Girl: Nadiah Johari

1 minute with our Everyday Girl: Nadiah Johari
What do you do?
I work in HR, doing Learning and Development. It may sound boring, but I enjoy what I do because I get to learn about how people develop, what drives them, and how I can help
How are you feeling right now?
Excited because it was my first time getting dolled-up for a photoshoot! It was also nice to meet the other girls from different backgrounds - everyone was really friendly.
What gets you out of bed everyday?
Lots of things! I think it's family. Paying the bills so I have to get up in the morning. Food.

What’s your current fave song on heavy rotation?
Right now I'm listening to a lot of old songs because I think I'm suddenly missing college. So I'm listening through songs from the late 90s and early 2000s.
Tell me about your pick-me-up routine.
I’d usually binge on chocolate and/or ice cream..not the healthiest option. I’ll also talk to close friends and family to get different perspectives or write things down and see how i can move forward from there
Do you have a hidden talent or a secret passion?
No particular talents, but I enjoy painting from time to time :)
If you could have lunch with an Everyday Girl, who would it be and why?
I’ll have to say my sisters, because we’re very close and hardly ever run out of things to talk about!
Words that you live by with?
Principles I live by is to be nice, be kind and work hard.
What is a simple thing you cannot live without?

Chocolate and ice cream
How would you describe your personal style?
My style is comfortable. I make sure I am dressed comfortable and practical.
What about your colour palette?
I like it very neutral. So very Uniqlo - which is why I really like Whimsigirl as well. Because I feel like they're the Uniqlo of Malaysia (chuckles). So more neutral colours.
Do you match your clothes with your tudung, or the other way around?
My tudung with my clothes. Because all of my tudungs are neutral-coloured, so it's easier that way.
What's your fave item from the collection? Why?
I love everything! But if i had to pick one, it’d be one of the white kebaya tops from the separate pieces.
