Syain's main motto in life is "to be your own hype woman". To her, no one in this world is going to care more about your success than you are, so if you ever need a hero - just look in the mirror.

Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Syain and I’m 26 years old, I am an assistant to a Chairman and do PR jobs for a cable company and I do part-time content creating, hosting, fashion styling and also modelling. I just recently got married and in the midst of building my beautiful dream home.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

The first thing I do when I wake up is, take some time then I would definitely draw the curtains to open the window to air the room and let the sunlight in, I would get ready and make the bed, make myself a cup of coffee and ticked off the list that I needed to do for the day. 

What are you most passionate about?

Recently I am most definitely passionate about fashion styling but in the most modest way possible. Because I see how beautiful it is, and how stylish it is at the same time, modesty does not limit anyone.

Also I am very passionate about creating content, everyday lifestyle content that is related to fashion styling. I am most definitely inspired by Bay Doucet and Alyssa Johan. These girls, they just literally create content, self-shoot as well at home. So at the comfort of your home, it does not limit you. With passion and with love towards what you’re doing your content will turn out really nice. 

What part of you that you are most proud of?

Part of me that I am most proud of is probably my determination. Basically, if I want to achieve something I will try my very best to get it even if I do not know how. My determination is really strong and I will make sure that I will achieve what I want in any way possible.

Even if it means I have to start from zero and I will try my very best to climb the stairs and make sure that I achieve the goal. As long as I see progress in myself and I make sure that I will reach the phase that I envision.

What are some of the positive changes that you try to implement this year?

 

Positive changes that I want to implement this year is by being there for my loved ones. To be honest, I have been a little bit off the grid from my life for the past few years dealing with myself and I’m so grateful that my loved ones are always there waiting, comforting me, and always telling me how much I am loved. So this year, while I am healthy mentally and physically, I just want to be there for them, I want to be present in their life just like that did for me.

If your life is a song, what would it be and why?

If my life is a song I would definitely say “Healing Incantation” from the Disney Movie “Tangled”, especially when the song goes:

It could be anything but to me, it related to the happiness within. The lullaby makes so much sense about finding happiness, within you. Nobody is responsible to make you happy but yourself. 

What’s your biggest influence?

My biggest influence out there is probably all of these beautiful girls posting everything that they love, everything that they are passionate about. Whether it is about food, fashion, lifestyle, travelling. Basically I love seeing people do whatever that they love in their life and living to their fullest by being present in life. I am most definitely inspired to live my life as much as I can.

What do you want to see more of in the world?

What I want to see more of in this world is probably sincerity. Whether you’re doing great in life or not, it is very important to surround yourself with people who is sincere. Who can be there for you regardless, because I find it really easy for people to be kind, but to be kind and sincere at the same time is actually really hard to find. So I think in life, with sincerity it will really make the world, a much better place.
