Ramadhan is a holy month for Muslims around the world. It is when they fast from dawn to dusk for a month long. But it’s also a lot more than just fasting, it’s a month of moderation and a time to improve oneself. Ramadhan is also about the community, making the effort to strengthen the bond by spending more time with family and friends through buka puasa sessions and terrawih.

The first few days of Ramadhan can be challenging for some of us as we transition from having yummy Nasi Lemaks for breakfast and Nasi Campur for lunch to abstaining from food and water (among other things), from sunrise to sunset all month-long.
