Meet the Azura behind "Azura". Read on to get to know Azura better and how she inspired one of our Eid Girl.

Hi. Can you share a little bit about yourself?
Hi, I’m Azura. I used to be a radio presenter and producer but now I’m a full-time mom of three kids. Just taking a bit of a break from working and concentrating on raising my three children for now.

How would your best friend describe you in 3 words?
I think talkative, sassy and also approachable.

What does it mean to be comfortable in your own skin?
I think it’s very important for anyone to be comfortable in their own skin. It’s a case of you being at ease with yourself and not being distracted by uncomfortable clothes or unfamiliar situations. It’s being able to truly be yourself and I think that’s something that I aim for on a daily basis. Whatever I’m doing, I just want to be comfortable and to be at ease with the situation that I’m in at the moment.

What makes you feel confident?
It’s the little things that makes me confident. It’s whether I’ve had my cup of coffee in the morning or whether I’m wearing a comfortable shirt or comfortable shoes. That helps me feel comfortable under my own skin. I think confidence really shows when you’re comfortable. It’s something I want to pass on to my children as well. Being confident is one of the things I try to teach my children and trying to make them feel at ease no matter what situation they’re in.

If you could share a message to all the everyday girls out there, what would it be?
I think the most important thing for any person out there, whether you’re an everyday girl or an everyday boy, whether you’re a mom, whether you’re working or not, is self care. I think everyone is caught up with their daily stresses, whether it’s taking care of their children, whether it’s a stressful job. It’s important for you to take a step back and just think about how much time you deserve for yourself. Whether it’s having a drink with a friend, or just going for a hair wash, jus to take care of yourself. That’s the most important thing.
