Job Description:

As a Fashion Designer at Whimsigirl, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing captivating clothing lines that reflect our brand's identity and appeal to our target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Create original fashion concepts, sketches, and designs that align with our brand's aesthetic and vision.

• Research and analyze current fashion trends, fabrics, and materials to inform your design decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, garment technicians, and marketing, to ensure the successful execution of designs.

• Develop and present design concepts to the creative team and key stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.

• Oversee the entire design process, from concept development to final product, ensuring a high level of quality and craftsmanship.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and enhance our design offerings.

• Create production plans for the next season.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Fashion Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative vision.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and production processes.

• Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for creating unique and innovative designs.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving design trends and brand aesthetics.
